Foundation Laid for the Sema – Hüseyin Erdoğmuş Science High School and Education Complex
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Sema – Hüseyin Erdoğmuş Science High School and Education Complex, designed by ASMA, was held in Eğirdir on 18 April 2026.
Developed to make a long-term contribution to Eğirdir’s educational infrastructure, the project is designed as an education complex of approximately 15,600 m² bringing together a science high school, boys’ and girls’ dormitories, and an indoor sports hall.
The campus follows an integrated layout connecting different functions through open spaces, pedestrian relationships and shared areas. Eğirdir’s topography, climate and environmental character are among the primary inputs shaping the project’s siting and architectural decisions.
Realised with the contributions of philanthropist Hüseyin Erdoğmuş, the ceremony included the presentation of the project’s book and model to Isparta Governor Abdullah Erin and Hüseyin Erdoğmuş. ASMA founder and project architect Ali Sinan gave information about the project on site to Governor Abdullah Erin and the attending officials.
With the groundbreaking ceremony, construction of the Sema – Hüseyin Erdoğmuş Science High School and Education Complex has begun.
