Ali Sinan to Deliver Başkent University’s 2025–2026 Academic Year Opening Lecture

ASMA founder Ali Sinan will meet students as part of the 2025–2026 Academic Year Opening Lecture of the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture of Başkent University.

In the opening lecture titled “Ideal and Reality,” Sinan will examine the relationship between idea and implementation in the architectural design process, drawing on his own professional experience and projects developed at ASMA. Through competitions and projects that were realised or remained at different stages, he will discuss the intellectual dimension of architectural production.

The event will begin on Thursday, 27 November 2025 at 10:00 in the Avni Akyol Conference Hall of Başkent University. Ali Sinan’s opening lecture, “Ideal and Reality,” will take place at 10:30.
